Cristina Moreno García (Zaragoza, 1985)
Visual artist and cultural manager, focused in collaborative and interdisciplinary projects, currently driven by artistic research around holistic healing practices.
With a BA in Fine Arts at Castilla La Mancha University in Spain (2011) and former student at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Nuremberg of video artist Heike Baranowsky (2009-2012), she started working parallel in management, PR and public program assistance on international cultural projects and exhibitions, as Auf AEG in Nürnberg and Halle 14 e.V. in Leipzig. In 2013 she took part in the postgraduate program for female artists: Goldrausch Künstlerinnenprojekt in Berlin.
In 2014, he co-founded the Vesselroom Project exhibition space at Kottbusser Tor; a meeting point for collaborative and contextual artistic practices, working in cooperation with other spaces, galleries and institutions such as the Spanish Embassy in Berlin (2014-2016) and participating in major events, as the Project Space Festival and Berlin Art Week. During the management years of the Vesselroom Project, she worked around three pillars: video art screenings, fanzine production and site specific production as collaborative practice.
From 2016 to 2019, she worked for diverse Berlin galleries as Tanya Leighton, Supportico Lopez and Persons Projects, in the positions of registrar and gallery administrative.
Currently, she is working independently as artist assistant of Veronika Kellndorfer, Thomas Schulz, Heike Baranowsky, Susanne Kriemann and Jeongmoon Choi in Berlin.
